TRAINING FOR BEACON: If you are a new group contact or would appreciate a refresher session then Helen, Moira, Carole & Chris Hague-Smith will be pleased to help.
Group contacts should find Beacon very helpful for contacting your group members & keeping your meeting dates, times & venues as up to date as possible. Don't forget that you should also keep your website group page details, particularly proposed meetings & events, as up-to-date as possible. Thank you.

Need some help with IT or your group page? Go to the CONTACT US Page & Email one of the IT SUPPORT TEAM.

Please keep an eye on the Interest Group pages! As usual there will be changes to groups as members review & revise their activities, with new groups evolving & contacts changing.

Also, due to our increasing success, several groups appear to have reached capacity. If you are interested in a group which appears to be 'full' it is important to let Heather Wright & the group contact know so that we can take steps to address the problem!  Members interested in starting a new group should contact Heather Wright for help to start off a sign-up list to gauge interest from other members.

Check out our  Members Welcome Events  page link above.

This is a chance to meet other members and group leaders in a very relaxed atmosphere for a chat and to see for yourself what else is going on in Meopham U3A!

Hello, I said Hello....

Yes we are still open, Its about time for a change of attitude.... Things will be a long time getting back to the old normal so let's get busy being positive and planning for our continuing Meopham U3A future.
Group contacts have been emailed by Heather and me, (Gus) asking for information about your groups and your website page and if not much has happened PLEASE be courteous and at least reply  as it all helps us to understand how our U3A is coping.
Face to face meetings of any type are going to be difficult as we all have our own "Bubbles" to feel safe in but online group quizes, coffee mornings or just a phone call can be helpful for many who miss personal contact.
Help is available and dont be scared to ask / email someone on committee who will point you in the right direction and for many try asking grandchildren for help, I do!!
As you can see from this list many of the groups are keeping the members informed of what is going on.
