Meopham U3A: Mature Drivers Conference.

Hi All, This was received from KCC Road Safety Team,

If anyone is interested then please use the email link to Carol Collen below.

KCC Road Safety Team are planning a further Mature Drivers’ Conference at Stone Pavilion, Dartford DA9 9DS on Tuesday 15 October 2019, in the morning. This is aimed at drivers over 60 who are currently driving. This is the seventh we have completed since November 2018 which have all been full.

This is a friendly, informal and informative session, participants will be sat in groups, and we hope everyone will go away with a little extra knowledge to help them stay safe drivers. Subjects covered will be common crash causation, child car seat safety, impairment including fatigue and medication, smart motorways and eco driving.

We had some very positive comments from previous conferences, for example:

“It will jog the memory and make you think. It would make you feel happier in yourself knowing if you’re still okay.
After listening to this, it’s given me the confidence to say that I’m still alright driving”

This is a FREE event, but we do need people to sign up for this as we have limited availability and need to compile an attendance list before the event.
Please contact Carol by e mail on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to register or request further details.
