SPRING
In April, we took Spring as our theme. As usual, our members came up with some original ideas and artists we hadn’t all heard of! The content ranged from landscapes, floral paintings and animals, to titles which included the word ‘spring’ although the painting needed the use of some imagination to make the connection! Artists included Sisley, Pissarro,David Milne, Tom Thomson, Samuel Palmer, Grant Wood, Durer, Hockney, Georgia O’Keefe, Hillard, James Snell, Hokusai, Mucha and Nolde. The usual lively discussion ensued and we enjoyed looking at the wide variety of work.
